Our Southern Sites are the base for our Combat Systems team.  From Ash Vale, Farnborough and Weymouth we design, procure, integrate and support current and future generations of submarine Combat Systems.  External sensors and communications antenna carry the data that provides the Submarine Commander the information to perform his mission from intelligence gathering, working with special forces to launching a cruise missile.

The Combat System design of today is a complex open architecture system of systems communicating over multiple networks and making maximum use of latest commercial of-the-shelf processing.

Our business is growing as we work closely with customers and suppliers to continually evolve the combat system to benefit the UK submarine flotilla of today and for the future.

Ash Vale and Farnborough are located just off the M3 on the Surrey and Hampshire border.  The area has excellent facilities and transport infrastructure with Guildford, Basingstoke and Reading all less than 20 miles.  London and the South coast can both be reached in under an hour.  The centre of Farnborough is in the middle of a major regeneration project and there has been significant expansion to the commercial business parks surrounding Farnborough airfield, the home of the world famous airshow.

Weymouth is an attractive and busy town on the Dorset Coast and at one end of Chesil Beach.  It is a popular holiday destination and the location chosen to host the sailing events of the 2012 Olympics.  The historic market town of Dorchester is within 10 miles.  The pace of life around the area is in keeping with the essentially rural location.
